Annual Breakfast With Santa To Benefit Children With Autism
The Kiwanis Clubs of Greater Sheboygan and Sheboygan will be hosting their annual pancake breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus to raise funds to provide iPads to children with autism in Sheboygan County on Saturday, December 8.
The event will take place at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar at 526 South Taylor Drive in Sheboygan, between the hours of 8am and 10am. This joint effort between the two Kiwanis clubs and Applebee’s will support the Wisconsin Upper Michigan (WIUM) Kiwanis Autism Project, whose goal is to provide iPads and funding for children with autism of families in need – and will specifically benefit children with autism in Sheboygan County. Volunteers from the two Kiwanis clubs will be there to greet, serve, and bus tables, thanks to the support of our local Applebee’s. Kids will get the chance to meet and have their photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus during the event.
“Since the Autism Project started, our Kiwanis District has raised over $500,000 in funds and distributed 1,016 iPads to local children,” said former district governor Lynn Messer. “We’re thrilled to be a part of this effort, and events like our pancake breakfast are a fun way for everyone to help the cause!”
